Twynam’s roots trace back to 1969 in steel trading. Growing into Agriculture, Twynam became a global player in cotton, grain, rice and water management. Johnny Kahlbetzer, the second generation and current CEO, diversified the business and transformed the way he thought about business. Twynam funded the first set of research into enteric methane vaccines in the 90s and since COP 4, has been investing in Climate.
In 2023, Twynam spun out a funds management business with the view that technology should be looking at our hardest challenges - not the low hanging fruit. We’re committed to finding the best and most passionate founders in the sectors that really matter for our Earth.
