| Feedlot |
Twynam owns and operates a 4,000 head beef feedlot at “The Mount”, West of Forbes. Twynam feeds a number of its Angus company bred progeny and provides a custom feeding service for clients, depending on economic factors.
Twynam has also fed lambs on site for sale into local markets.
The ability to source cattle and feed ingredients from within the group for the feedlot operation provides Twynam with a degree of vertical integration and production control unique to Australian feedlotting. The production chain extends through to the direct marketing of carcasses. |
