Twynam runs a commercial herd of 8,500 Angus breeders. Twynam produces feeder steers and heifers well suited to the Japanese and domestic supermarket trade.
Herd bulls are sourced from the Twynam Angus Stud located at “Jemalong”, Forbes, in central New South Wales. Using Angus Breedplan data and feedlot feedback Twynam’s Angus are well above average in growth rate, eye muscle and marbling. Twynam conducts an annual on-property Angus bull sale where approximately 80 rising two year old bulls are offered to the public. |
